The Business Vitality Committee is an information sharing committee that meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month to explore issues, events and activities that have or could have an influence and impact on living, working, and even playing in the Carlsbad area. Such issues might include economic, business environment, regulatory or social issues or a combination of all. Typical meetings have a guest speaker to share his or her area of expertise, and the information is presented in an informal, relaxed atmosphere. Business Vitality Committee – Mission Statement: Investigate issues that affect the immediate and long-term needs of the business community in the City of Carlsbad and provide recommendations, leadership, cultivate resources, which effect the business environment that will maximize the ability to retain and attract quality businesses to Carlsbad.
