WE'RE CLOSE TO SAVING THE 760 AREA CODE IN NORTH COUNTY!

Thank you all that showed up on September 4 and made your voice heard! On September 16, 2008, Administrative Law Judge Maribeth A. Bushey released her proposed decision on our petition for modification, (http://docs.cpuc.ca.gov/efile/PD/90865.htm). Her proposed decision is ordering an overlay of the 760 area code! However, we can not claim victory yet. The Public Utility Commission will vote on this on October 16 in San Francisco.
